Recently the bussiness function LOG_MM_OM_1 was activated in our sandbox to evaluate the functionality.
I saw that the BAdI ICH_BIF_WO_INF_IN is available in the system.
SAP states:
An outsourced operation can be confirmed using the implementation of this BAdI.
- BAdI is implemented and changed so it can be used without WIP Batches.
- I have a production order with an outsourced Operation --> purchase req. was created (header material taken over to the pur.req. with different BAdI).
Then purchase order was created with reference to the purch.req. ME20 ---> delivery created with movement type 541. GI posted...
Afterwards GR was posted with MIGO with reference to that PO.
---> Operation in production order has Status EODL (External Operation delivered).
OK.
But there was no automatic confirmation of that outsourced operation within the production order.
Does anybody know if that BAdi works just within the ERP system?
I also know SAP SNC (there is an Outsourced Manufacturing Scenario) and I see that ICH_BIF is related to the Business Interface of SNC (naming convention ICH*).
So I guess this is working only within an integrated SNC Scenario ?!? (but I want to use it just within ERP to automatically confirm that Operation in the production order). I can not find this information in the documentation.
