In MRP 3 view under the header availability check you have the checking group.
Checking group is linked to a checking rule via scope of check (OPPJ -> Determine Check)
Checking rule for planned orders can be found at the plant level, in the configuration OPPQ -> Maintain Planned Orders -> Dependant Requirement Availability. (I think this is being used in MDVP, confirm this in your system) -> Same information can be found using, OPJJ -> Plant
Checking group is in the material master MRP 3 view of your material.
