Hello,
In transaction SU3 parameter for user parameter AAF assign your production order type.
Best Regards,
R.Brahmankar
Hi
AAF seems to work fine for me however alternative solutions are below.
OPPQ under "Maintain Planned Orders" --> Conversion you can assign the default order type for Planned orders to Production order conversions.
OPKP you can assign these in the scheduling profile and assign to the material under work scheduling tab (MM01/MM02).
When you go in to CO01 even if the order type is blank it doesn't matter when you enter the material and plant and press enter it will automatically obtain this from the scheduling profile.
Hope that helps

Sounds good. Thank you.
I have a fair understanding of both, but would like to confirm my thought process..
I have a part that I need to plan separately using manual reorder point and replenish from other storage location. I have 2 options
1. storage location mrp indicator 2 and set reorder point value. when stock falls below, system will create an sto on other storage location (provided I do the sloc to sloc sto config). This set up will not use special procurement key and is independent of mrp type
2. I create mrp area and use reorder point value with mrp type VB. in this case I can use special procurement key to transfer stuff from other sloc.
is my understanding correct? if it is jut a simple reorder planning, do I have to go with option 2? or would option 1 suffice?
what extra advantage do I get by using option 2 in a simple reorder planning?
Thx

Hi Guys,
During process order crate/change I go to process order material list. Select one component and click on "Execute Batch Determination"
It takes to the screen "Batch Determination CO: Select Batches". Relevant batches displayed as per the condition record.
I can see the selection criteria on pressing the button "Selection Criteria"
Now pressing F3 (Back) without copying the batch. It prompts "Do you want to copy the selected batch". I say "No"
System does not prompt me the 2nd pop up "Do you want to copy the selection criteria?"
The screen goes back to Process Order: Material list.
Well the 2nd pop up comes in case of batch determination for outbound delivery for sales order.
Can you please guide me how to get the 2nd pop up for the process order components ?

I have a plant with one of its storage location assigned to MRP area.
plant = pl01
storage locations = sl01 and sl02
mrp area = msl01 assigned to sl01 storage location
stock in sl01 = 2 pcs (remember this has mrp area assignment)
stock in sl02 = 10 pcs (this is part of plant mrp area now)
sales order is entered on plant pl01 and sloc sl01 for quantity 5 pcs.. when I do ATP check, is there a way to have system check the plant MRP area (sl02 location) also for ATP? along with sl01?
note: I have checked the "no storage loc insp" in ovz9 config too..
Thanks for this both of you

If I have to do Capacity Planning - Leveling and Dispatch orders will that do the trick ?
I have to update the schedule dates of the orders anyway. The thing is that the orders were created in the previous Fiscal Year and I need to refresh BOM/Routing and Cost. Now with the latter I understand that I can do Mass using COHV but I didnt know how to do Mass for BOM and Routing
Thanks in advance

HI All,
I facing a issue for a particular scanrio.I have batch managed material for which shelf life period is maintained.
I created a process order for 50 for the same material.Eventhough I am doing partial delivery for 10,the delivery completion indicator was set for the order. When I remove the shelf life in material master the indicator is not set for the order, when I do a partial delivery. Please explain this behavior?
Regards
Richie
Hi,
This means you want to consider sl02 also making quantity as 12 available for SO, right? If this is the case then don't put sl01 in SO. Do the ATP at plant level.
Let us know if it resolved your issue.

Hi Mariano,
I checked Factory calendar in SCAL that is maintained from 2006 to 2015.
please can u tell me how can i extend it.
If i make any changes in Dev. server then directly all changes will be reflected to PRD. server or what.
because i read this below thing:
The calendar is not client-specific
Each change takes effect directly in all clients

Hi Shekar,
In production order scheduled date is 29.09.2015 and factory calendar is maintained for 2015.

Hi Vivek,
No doubts that the problem is your factory calendar. Extend it and it will be fix.
You will have to change the Factory calendar in Development system, move the order and test in QA & and move it to prod.
In each environment you have clients, so the fact that the calendar is not client-specific means that you don't have to make your changes in your development system.
For example, you can have a landscape like this:
DEV (010): Development
DEV (900): Sandbox
QAS (010): Quality
QAS (020): Trainings
PRD (010): Productive
DEV, QAS and PRD are environments / systems / servers.
DEV 010 or DEV 900 are different clients.
Kind Regards,
Mariano
Hi Mariano,
Thanks for ur quick response.
Please can u guide me, how to extend a factory calendar in SCAL.
In SCAL maintained factory calendar from 2006 to 2015.
So,there i need to change only it from 2006 to 2020 or to do something else.
BR,
Vivek
Any pointers guys?

Hi, I'm also having the same issue. Please share the way you get sorted this.
Hi Vivek
The issue is happening on the availability check, probably because the lead time of a component is too big. The availability date of the material is material specific and is based on planned delivery time (in calendar days) + GR processing time ( in work days) + Purchase processing time. If one of these values is too big, the date will be calculated in 2016, which is outside the validity of the factory calendar, so this error is triggered.
If you want to know exactly for which component this is happening, you can use the procedure described on the documentHow to analyze an error message in debug and check it in debug.
Nevertheless, it will be still necessary to adjust your factory calendar and extend it far in the future, to avoid this kind of issue.
If you research on SCN, you will find several old threads where the extension of the factory calendar was discussed. You will also find WIKI Factory Calendar validity until 2010 - Netweaver Technology - SCN Wiki, which should be useful to you.

Hello Gurus,
I have one question related to the SOP process and structures.
My client is using ECC - SOP as a starting point for the sales and operations planning process, generating future forecast through the std algorithms that are available in SAP ECC.
As the ECC SAP system is "live" since 2014, there's not much historical data to be extracted from sales tables in ECC (VBAK, VBAP, VBEP etc etc) in order to populate the key figure "historical data" in structure "S076".
My questions are:
- is it possibile to load historical data extracted from the "old" system, so that the key figure is populated with data prior to ECC go-live?
- if the answer to the previous question is yes, are these "data migration" tools normally built as custom objects under client specification or is any ECC STD tool available in order to perform massa data load into this structures?
In my previous projects we did the same in order to load historica sales data in APO - DP: we populated the infocube through initial data migration.
I guess the same can be done with ECC-SOP structures,
Thanks for your help and attention.
regards
Mauro
Hello Mauro
You can use an IDOC of the standard basic type SOPGEN01 to upload data to the infostrucure.
