Thanks for your advice again.
For our issue, does it meant that if we used an exit to change the components from MTS to MTO, the generated MRP Planned Order / PR will become sales order special stock items ? If so and we changed the special stocks to UU stocks after GR for PO, then can it be consumed for the Production Order ?
For the opposite scenario, it the setup only in the field "Individual/coll." for the components ? Then, will the MRP Planned Order / PR also become UU stock items (Item Cate. = blank) and the requirement is based on the whole Plant stocks ? For example,
Plant Stock = 2
Dependent Requirement 1 = 5
Dependent Requirement 2 = 5
Then, will only one MRP Planned Order / PR be generated and is its requirement qty = 8 if it is changed to MTS ?
For the MTO, should the two MRP Planned Order / PRs be generated with requirement qty 5 for each one ?
