We have a scenario were we want to track some common material differently. Some are regular production materials and some are seasonal material which are manufactured only if there is enough capacity in off season ( but material are common for both regular and seasonal).
If such cases we are planning to create separate order type for seasonal material and regular material. And when production of seasonal product is done then we will shift it to seasonal product storage location. So for this case we will create a demand for seasonal product and after MRP run planned order will get generated and when planned order to production order conversion will happen that time system will ask for order type selection, then during production order storage location by default is coming for regular production. So here can system propose different storage location for seasonal product as per order type ?
Or else do you have some different idea to handle this case ?
