We have set a period indicator in the MRP3 material master and a Fiscal Year Variant .
When doing a review of the MPS and changing the view>>>time Line from planning periods to posting periods the system does not give new values.
My question is do these parts have to have MRP type set to MPS mrp type for this functionality to work.
The product group does not have the Posting period set up in the master data for the product group.
When trying to update this infomation, thinking that was the problem the system gives MRP type error.
I have looked at the MPS evaluation profile and didn't see anything in there. Maybe I missed something.
