Just to give you an update: 5 years ago, we finally implemented a workaround that could be used at that time because the most complex cases were only one-to-one relationships that could be handled easily by the business. Now, the situation becomes more complex (one-to-many relationships) and, unfortunately, this workaround is not useful anymore.
This is why, I have to dig a little bit more again about the possibilites to retrieve which simulative dependent requirements were at the origin of one simulative planned order.
I already know table MDSM which gives the opposite in fact... which dependent requirements were created for a simulative planned order. This information, obviously, can also be found in table PLAF.
If I look in MS04 / pegged requirements, I can click on button "graphic", which shows the full where-used list of raw materials, from bottom to top of the BoMs.
All the involved requirements and simulative orders are shown there.
It seems VERY INTERESTING... But??? How to get this information in a custom program?
At first, I thought to write a function that would read MDSM on matnr and date. But for this, I think I will miss the logic about calendar (for example, sometimes, the date is not the same because falling on a weekend...).
