Please let me know your input in this challenge. I don't think we have any tools in SAP ERP to solve this.
There is one operation in which the finish products are tested in different temperatures in Test Chambers.
In Capacity Planning we want to level load the requirements between different chambers. If the capacity is exceeded at one chamber, SAP should pick the next chamber available, or schedule another heat.
Let's say there are 3 test chambers T1, T2 and T3. ( In reality there are more then 20 material groups and 15 chambers)
There are 3 material groups which need this kind of test, MG_A, MG_B and MG_C.
Different product groups can go into different TC.
TC1 will have into one 5 hours heat, 50 pc of MG_A, 10 of MG_B and 20 MG_C.
If I have more then 50 pc of MG_A then I need another heat.
The slots of each material group can be used only for that group.
MG_B can be done on each of the test chambers while MG_C can be done only on TC1.
