MFBF - Field for Employee ID

How can I add a field in MFBF for Employee ID and use that field to populate "Personnel number" in AFRU-PERNR without maintaining a HR Record.

(i.e) Don't want to maintain SAP-HR records, however populate the PERNR in AFRU table from MFBF.
