We currently have recipes where an input is inspected and packaged. The nature of inspection, of course, is that there is some scrap.
We are trying to set up backflushing of the packaging materials, but so far I've found that if we assign the backflush to any phase where we are reporting scrap, the backflush calls for packaging materials for the scrap as well as the good material.
We can, of course, create a new phase, separating the inspection from the packaging, and never report scrap on the packaging phase, but I'm wondering if there is a setting or combination of settings on the assembly or component scrap that will allow us to inspect, yield good product that calls for the appropriate packaging materials and scrap off-spec product that won't call for packaging materials all on the same phase.
