SAP SD01 PP01 BOM Not exploding Correctly

Hello everybody,

I have a functional question regarding the SAP BOM

I am trying to explode this material via CSMB but some materials from the parent are not exploding at all, here is some of them I was analyzing:

PARENT(SD01 Explosion) : PARENT_MATERIAL

• - CHILD: CHILDA-2 (PP01 Type Only)         -> Does not explodes (This comes from a  Configurable Material)
• - CHILD: CHILDB-2 (Universal Type)      -> Explodes (This comes from a  Configurable Material)
• - CHILD: CHILD_3  (Universal Type)      -> Does not explodes

The non-exploding materials BOM APP are PP01/Universal type while the KIT(parent material) is SD01 ( I am not sure if this could be affecting it. Some Universal types are working fine, one is not.

I would like to know if anybody knows why this could be happening.

Or BOM will only explode children with the same BOM APP?
